The journey to inner royalty
Discover the personal story that ignited Queen International, a movement dedicated to empowering individuals to shine authentically from within. Our path is woven from experience, resilience, and a deep commitment to helping you find your true voice.

My story, your strength
My pageant experience was deeply revealing, forcing me to navigate a space where beauty standards often overlooked my ethnicity, history, and lived experience. I faced the complexities of politics, culture, and perception, wrestling with how the world defined me versus how I defined myself. This journey, from internal struggles to claiming my voice authentically, culminated in becoming the second African American to win Miss Mississippi in 2007, advancing to the Miss America Top 11 in 2008. This unorthodox path shaped my ministry, awakening a deeper sense of purpose and calling me to be a steadfast voice for truth, hope, and light.
